You have stumbled upon the humble portfolio of Austin Smith, programmer extraordinaire. I enjoy making games (in fact games are what inspired me to learn to program in the first place) and web applications. If you're so inclined, check out some of the things I've made. Also, you may notice that this site is rather plain. This is by design; I wanted my portfolio to reflect my attitude towards development: Simple, Performant, and Reliable. Other developers may use the hottest new JS framework to build their portfolio, but I ain't them baby. That mentality leads to bloated websites. I think those tools have their place, but I believe they are overkill for a simple portfolio site. This site was created with plain HTML and minimal CSS *gasp*. It accomplishes what it needs to do and is less than 15 KB in size. That makes me happy.
